  1. I think that is great that ministers of the BRICS have meet an agreement in order to reduce air and water pollution. It is know today that Air Pollution and Water Pollution are getting worse everyday! According to some new studies, they have said that over 3,000 cities around the world has increased by about 8 percent. This was just between 2008 and 2013. I also think that is a great idea to mange liquids as well as solid waste. Hopefully this act of reducing pollution will spread further as we can hopefully one day get rid of it once and for all!

    Great Post!

  2. This is great news! I am currently enrolled in a chemistry course and I have been learning about all kinds of air and water pollutants, along with how businesses are working at performing processes that generate less waste. It is sad to learn and read about smog; people should be able to go outside and enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about smog! Keep us updated - I am interested in seeing what initiatives the environmental ministers of the BRICS nations take.

  3. The management of liquid and solid waste is interesting. In the past, I've come across multiple articles describing how poorly designed and maintained many of the world's infrastructures (including sewer and water treatment plants) are and how costly it will be to repair them. It's definitely a necessary move, however, I'm curious where the funding will come from.
